CIDA is people involved in some aspect of instrumental music who have trusting faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, and who desire to serve and honor Him with their music, including musicians, composers, educators, performers (professional and amateur), publishers and retailers.

• Provide a network and communication among Christian instrumentalists
• Sponsor a gathering of Christian instrumentalists at music conferences
• Provide information on available music literature related to the church
• Hold a biennial national conference in even-numbered years
• Publish a newsletter of information related to our membership

  
  

• You will contribute to the music ministry of other believers
• You will be able to learn about other Christians in your field or location
• You will receive the CIDA Newsletter covering information in the areas of church, school and professional music
• You will have a central place to get and send out information to other Chrisitan instrumentalists.

The Christian Instrumentalists and Directors Association is a professional organization composed of instrumental musicians and directors who believe that God is the Creator of the universe, the Giver of life and music; who profess faith in God's Son, Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior, recognizing that Christ's bodily resurrection has made salvation possible: and who seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit for growth and development. This organization coordinates and encourages the efforts of Christian instrumentalists in churches, schools, the music industry, professional performance, and any other instrumental music activity.

Active membership will be in effect from the date received through December 31st. Membership application assumes your endorsement of the CIDA Constitution Preamble:
